 Breckenridge is a town in Summit County, Colorado, United States. The population was 2,408 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Summit County. Breckenridge is also a popular ski resort during the winter months, servicing multi-difficulty ski slopes on the Rocky Mountains. In the summer, the town turns into an outdoor lover's paradise with great hiking trails, beautiful wildflowers to see, fly-fishing in the Blue River, and nearby Lake Dillon for boating. Nonprofit Grant Application |
The Summit Foundation, Summit County Government and the towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne are now accepting grant applications for their Fall review of grant request for 2009 projects from nonprofit organizations. The application submission deadline is noon on Friday, August 22, 2008. Please click here in order to download the application.
Applications are accepted from Summit County nonprofit organizations, which are tax exempt under the provisions of Section (501)(c)(3) and 170 (b)(1)(A)(i.V.I.) of the Internal Revenue Code. Hard copies of the applications and guidelines are available to be picked up at the Riverwalk Center Box office during regular hours, Tuesday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or town offices in Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne, the County Courthouse or The Summit Foundation at 108 North French Street, Breckenridge.
